The Round Table is a network of executives with a shared desire to improve their organizations’ performance management and performance measurement practices. It is a forum where members challenge, discuss, and learn from each other in a stimulating learning environment where both academic and practice based knowledge is disseminated and the learning experience is shared. It seeks to answer the question ‘Why are some institutions thriving whilst others are collapsing?” It is particularly aimed at examining leaders’ understanding of what constitutes good performance management and its sustainability. The Round Table becomes critical in the backdrop of a trail of collapsed and/or poorly performing Africa’s blue chip organizations and the impact of this to African economy.
The Round Table dialogue will culminate with the setting up of a Performance Management Research Centre housed at the Strathmore Business School (SBS).
